Additional fees will be covered by  Allied Universal that are associated with the vaccination process.</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Overview</strong>: </p><p> </p><p>Allied Universal is currently hiring experienced Security Professional for our operations in North York, ON. The ideal candidate will be a skilled professional with strong communication abilities, a readiness to work rotating shifts, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team. If you have a background as a security guard, enjoy patrolling, and can uphold a high standard of professionalism, we would love to hear from you.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor access control and CCTV systems</li><li>Patrol large areas, on foot and by vehicle</li><li>Communicate professionally with staff, including site management and security teams</li><li>Handle security incidents and emergencies calmly and efficiently</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent security coverage</li><li>Conduct regular patrols and site inspections to maintain security standards</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong> </p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience </li><li>Must have 1-2 years of experience in a Hospital or Corporate Office Building. </li><li>Must be <strong>25 years of age or older</strong> due to company vehicle insurance requirements.</li><li>Valid <strong>Ontario G-class driver&#39;s license is preferred and clean driving record, G2 license will be considered.</strong></li><li>Eligible to work in Canada for <strong>40</strong> hours a week, due to shift requirements. </li><li>Must have a valid Ontario Security License. </li><li><strong>Standard CPR</strong> or willing to obtain one (reimbursement will be provided)</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and use of computers </li><li>Proven experience with CCTV camera monitoring.</li><li>Position requires "foot patrols", extended periods of walking (indoors/outdoors)</li><li>Ability to drive in all weather conditions, as patrols are required using company vehicles.</li><li>Standard First Aid and CPR (reimbursement provided where necessary)</li><li>Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 15 kilograms.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits:</strong> </p><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement. </li><li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits </li><li>Paid training and development programs. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong> </p><p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
