Location: Mississauga, ON (GTA-based with local travel)

What You'll Do

  • Drive adoption of next-generation smart lighting and building control solutions across the GTA.
  • Influence project design from concept through installation by building strong relationships with electrical engineers, architects, and designers.
  • Deliver tailored solutions by reviewing electrical drawings and specifications in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Conduct customer meetings, demos, and training sessions — both in-person and virtually.
  • Partner with inside sales and technical support teams to ensure seamless project execution.


What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years in lighting controls, building automation, or IoT systems sales.
  • Proven track record selling to or through specifiers (engineers, architects, designers) in commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of control systems and ability to interpret electrical drawings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter mentality with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach.
  • GTA-based with valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience introducing new technologies to market, including smart building, IoT, or energy management systems.
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, business, or a related technical field.
