Responsibilities


Reporting to the Supervisor Operations, the Operations attendant is responsible for operational phases required for receiving, transferring and shipping petroleum products. You will prepare maintenance work related equipment and will visually verify equipment located on the terminal site as well as off-site equipment. You will perform marine operations monitoring and ensure proper drainage of surface water.

In addition, you will witness manual dips performed by external parties and will take product samples in accordance with procedures. You will also make sure that safety and environment protection rules are complied with and will maximize energy conservation.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • College diploma in industrial or chemical process techniques

            or


  • College diploma or professional diploma in a relevant field (such as mechanical, electrical, welding, instrumentation and piping), combined with a minimum of 5 to 10 years’ relevant experience in a technical position in the industrial sector
  • Available to work on 12 hour rotating shifts (day, night)
  • Team spirit
  • Versatility: interest in several professions
  • Interest in manual work outdoors


Assets

  • Working knowledge of English
