Guided by our core values of closeness, teamwork, diversity, and excellence, our team of 1,000 expert consultants, representing 35 different nationalities, collaborates across 10 international offices: Paris, Lyon, New York, Montreal, London, Brussels, Geneva, Lisbon, Porto and Casablanca. </p><p><br></p><p>We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps SRE to join one of our major financial clients in Montreal. </p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Overview: </b></p><p>You will be part of a global DevOps Service Platform team with members in Paris, Bangalore, and Montreal. This SRE-focused role is central to improving infrastructure reliability, observability, and automation. You'll work closely with development and support teams to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of a range of DevOps tools across both on-premise and Azure cloud environments.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><p>Support & Adoption </p><ul><li>Ensure availability and performance of DevOps platform tools (Jenkins, Git, Nexus, Jira, etc.) </li><li>Operate under a Follow-The-Sun model and maintain SLA commitments </li><li>Assist development teams in implementing CI/CD best practices and tools </li><li>Communicate effectively on incident resolution and release coordination </li></ul><p><br></p><p>Tooling & Automation </p><ul><li>Install, upgrade, and manage DevOps tooling and related infrastructure </li><li>Prototype and validate new tools via PoCs to improve the software factory </li><li>Reduce manual workloads by developing automation solutions and chatbots </li><li>Contribute to cloud transformation initiatives with Microsoft Azure Monitoring & SLOs </li><li>Define and implement KPIs to establish and track SLOs, SLAs, and SLIs </li><li>Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high availability </li></ul><p><br></p><p>Knowledge Sharing & Governance </p><ul><li>Document processes and create best-practice guidelines </li><li>Act as the regional expert on CI/CD tooling for the AMER region</li><li>Participate in knowledge-sharing communities related to deployment and testing </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Skills and Qualifications: </b></p><p>Technical environment: </p><ul><li>Must-Have Tools: Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, Monitoring Tools </li><li>CI/CD Stack: GitHub, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, XLDeploy, Jira </li><li>Build & Artifact Tools: Maven, MSBuild, npm, Nexus, Artifactory, Sonar </li><li>Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD </li><li>Automation & Scripting: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Chatbots </li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required qualifications: </p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, platform support, or software factory administration</li><li>Strong autonomy and initiative, with ability to lead discussions and engage with stakeholders </li><li>Proven ability to analyze complex cross-team technical issues and deliver pragmatic solutions </li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including tool presentations and documentation</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Nice to Have: </p><ul><li>Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD modernization in the cloud </li><li>Knowledge of SRE principles and performance observability (SLOs/SLIs) </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Working Environment: </b></p><ul><li>Hybrid work model: 2-3 days on-site per week in Montreal. </li><li>Candidate must be located in Montreal or willing to relocate </li><li>English fluency, French is a plus.</li></ul>
