With a strong focus on innovation and design integrity, our team is passionate about exceeding expectations on every project. We are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our millwork shop.
Position Summary
The Carpenter will work primarily in our Brampton shop, fabricating and assembling custom millwork components. This role requires strong woodworking skills, the ability to read shop drawings, and experience using standard millwork machinery. Occasional site installation may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble custom millwork pieces: cabinets, drawers, panels, trims, and wood components
- Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and cut lists
- Measure, cut, and prepare wood, MDF, plywood, laminate, and veneer materials
- Operate woodworking machines including table saws, planers, jointers, routers, sanders, and band sawsk
- Perform sanding, edging, and preparation for finishing
- Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and fit
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety standards
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and completed products
- Perform occasional on-site installation as required
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in millwork carpentry, custom cabinetry, or woodworking
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and construction documents
- Skilled with woodworking tools, machinery, and fabrication techniques
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
