Location: Hybrid – 595 Bay Street, Toronto
Client: Canadian Public Sector Organization
Security Clearance: CRJMC
Duration: 5th August 2025 to 31st March 2026
Contract Opportunity
We’re excited to be supporting our public sector client in their search for a skilled consultant with deep experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Finance & Operations (F&O), SharePoint content structuring, and technical training support. This role plays a pivotal part in preparing sandbox environments, enabling simulation-based training, and building structured knowledge repositories to support end-user readiness and system adoption.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Set up sandbox environments within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and F&O to support training and testing initiatives.
- Prepare role-based test data and simulation scripts that reflect realistic business processes.
- Develop structured SharePoint Online knowledge repositories with clean metadata, well-organized subpages, and intuitive web parts.
- Coordinate with training teams and technical stakeholders to ensure environments, content, and test data are properly aligned to training objectives.
- Translate technical documentation and workflows into clear, accessible training guides and “how-to” articles.
- Apply plain language and AODA accessibility standards to all written and digital content.
- Maintain sandbox configuration documents, content crosswalks, and handoff materials for internal teams.
What We’re Looking For:
Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Environments
You bring strong hands-on experience in Dynamics 365 CE and/or F&O-especially in test, sandbox, or training contexts. You’re comfortable configuring data, assigning user roles, and validating workflows in alignment with test or training scenarios.
Being able to simulate various user experiences and troubleshoot assignments from a system perspective is key.
Proficiency in SharePoint Online
You know how to build and structure SharePoint team sites to house knowledge content. Whether it’s designing subpages, configuring web parts, or applying metadata for easy navigation-you structure content for user accessibility and long-term scalability.
Technical Writing & Documentation Skills
You can digest DevOps test cases, process maps, and workflows and transform them into practical, clear content-whether that’s a step-by-step training simulation, a system configuration guide, or a searchable knowledge base entry. Familiarity with content versioning, tagging, and user-centered design is highly valued.
Collaborative Communication Style
You work effectively with technical teams, project managers, and training leads to clarify requirements, flag gaps, and iterate quickly.
You’re proactive in resolving ambiguities and ensuring training assets align with evolving project needs.
What You’ll Deliver:
- Role-based assignment and simulation scripts mapped to test cases and training flows.
- SharePoint site with structured pages, metadata tagging, and intuitive navigation for learners.
- Sandbox setup guides and data entry procedures aligned to user roles and testing workflows.
- Crosswalk documentation linking DevOps test cases to training simulations.
- A well-maintained repository of reusable training materials and walk-through content.
- Ongoing documentation and knowledge transfer to project managers and internal stakeholders.
Knowledge Transfer & Collaboration Approach:
Throughout the project, you’ll collaborate closely with project managers, training developers, and team leads. Knowledge transfer will be ongoing-through SharePoint documentation, 1:1 sessions, and team meetings-ensuring continuity and clarity across stakeholders.
