Base Salary: 120K – 150K base benefits

Our client is a leading manufacturer of precision custom-built machine parts / custom fabrication and have a job open for Metal Fabrication Production Manager / Fabrication Manager for the day shift for their manufacturing plant in their Mississauga – Brampton ON area. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the president and will be responsible for managing the fabrication shop – hourly trades persons, production & material planning and shipping. Experience managing a metal cutting bending forming welding custom fabrication shop is a MUST .
Welders / Welder fitters / Metal Forming Trades Person with senior leadership experience are welcome to apply.
Metal Fabrication Production Manager / Fabrication Manager is fully responsible for giving leadership to the plant shop floor -CNC Lathe, Cutting , bending welding within this custom fabrication plant and be responsible for Production Planning, Production scheduling , Material Planning and supervising processes in CNC, Lathe, Cutting, Bending, Welding and similar. You will be responsible for scheduling, safety, performance management, coaching and mentoring. You will oversee the shift budget ensure production planning, material planning, production scheduling, shipping receiving.
You will work along Plant Engineering Process Improvement for any Continuous Improvement lean initiatives.
Metal Fabrication Production Manager / Fabrication Manager will ideally have 10+ years as a trades person in metal forming , machining CNC or as a welder / welder fitter with 10+ years in supervisory leadership role managing the complete fabrication shop in custom metal fabrication (MUST have )
