What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide confidential, compassionate counselling and support to employees through Homewood Health’s Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
• Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and case closures under Clinical Manager supervision
• Support employees returning from mental health-related leaves with personalized care and accommodation planning
• Deliver Crisis Management Services (CMS), Key Person Advice Line (KPAL), and crisis call support as needed
• Facilitate workshops and psychoeducation (e.g., stress, resilience, conflict resolution)
• Promote EFAP services and actively encourage employee engagement and program awareness
• Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify trends and support mental health strategy and culture-building initiatives
  
  

• Masters in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or other related discipline
• Must hold a valid registration with the relevant governing body
• Minimum 3 years of counseling experience
• Experience in brief solution-oriented counselling
• Knowledge of assessment, crisis management, and EFAP services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Awareness and acknowledgement of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients/clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an asset
