What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide confidential, compassionate counselling and support to employees through Homewood Health’s Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
- Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and case closures under Clinical Manager supervision
- Support employees returning from mental health-related leaves with personalized care and accommodation planning
- Deliver Crisis Management Services (CMS), Key Person Advice Line (KPAL), and crisis call support as needed
- Facilitate workshops and psychoeducation (e.g., stress, resilience, conflict resolution)
- Promote EFAP services and actively encourage employee engagement and program awareness
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to identify trends and support mental health strategy and culture-building initiatives
This position requires working onsite in our Kitchener office as well as a Woodstock client site and enables working from home 1 day a week.
What We’re Looking For
- Masters in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or other related discipline
- Must hold a valid registration with the relevant governing body
- Minimum 3 years of counseling experience
- Experience in brief solution-oriented counselling
- Knowledge of assessment, crisis management, and EFAP services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Awareness and acknowledgement of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients/clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an asset
