<p>Part Time Multi-Site Medical Radiation Technologist</p><p>Position posting number: </p><p>Rate of Pay: $36.84 – $50.24 per hour</p><p>Union: OPSEU – HPD</p><p>Schedule: Part Time Multi-Site Assignment</p><p>Location: Durham, Kincardine, Walkerton</p><p>Applications are currently being accepted for a Part Time Multi-Site Medical Radiation Technologist for the Durham site of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre with shifts also assigned to the Kincardine and Walkerton sites. This position is part of a combined Diagnostic Imaging & Cardiorespiratory Department.</p><p>Regular shift assignment will include core MRT duties, General Radiography and Computed Tomography, with possibilities of continuing current modalities. The successful applicant will be trained in Bone Mineral Densitometry. Responsibilities include performing high quality radiographic examinations and ensuring a safe working environment. It is the responsibility of the incumbent to maintain competency in the radiology department.</p><p>Applicants must meet the following criteria:</p><ul><li>Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required</li><li>Registration with the CAMRT preferred</li><li>Computed Tomography Experience preferred</li><li>Current CPR certification required</li><li>Working knowledge of the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Health Professionals Act</li><li>Experience with Digital Radiography equipment, and Regional SWODIN PACS considered an asset</li><li>Demonstrate Quality imaging</li><li>Epiphany or other Cardio server software experience preferred</li><li>Mammography or Bone Density or GI Enhanced Practice certification is an asset</li><li>Proven interpersonal skills to successfully communicate with patients and staff</li><li>Able to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to continuing education as required</li><li>Ability to provide participatory leadership, team building skills and inter-professional collaboration</li><li>Knowledge of and adherence to SBGHC Core Values</li><li>Advocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at SBGHC through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes</li><li>Recent satisfactory performance with demonstrated excellence in attendance required</li><li>Knowledge of and adherence to Occupational Health & Safety and infection control principles</li></ul><p>SBGHC is an equal opportunity employer.
