Leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering to perform and coordinate comprehensive testing procedures, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and write detailed test procedures based on system requirements and test flow.
- Coordinate test approvals and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Execute environmental tests, including vibration, thermal, and shock testing.
- Operate and maintain test equipment such as shaker tables, vibration tables, thermal chambers, and TVAC systems.
- Analyze test data using tools like LabVIEW and MATLAB to validate performance and identify anomalies.
- Monitor soak times and ensure accurate thermal cycling and vibration profiles.
- Troubleshoot test setups and mitigate risks during execution.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure punctual delivery of test results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine test strategies and improve processes.
- Experience performing mechanical testing in a R&D lab or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in environmental testing, including vibration and thermal testing.
- Hands-on experience with LabVIEW or MATLAB Simulink.
- Ability to create and execute test procedures and plans.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting test data.
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- Experience operating vibration, static structural, and thermal test equipment.
- Experience writing environmental testing procedures and test reports.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience navigating technical discussions with engineering teams.
The role requires regular 40-hour work weeks, primarily in-office five days a week, with some flexibility for remote work under special project circumstances. Core working hours are from 9 AM to 3 PM. The dress code is business casual, aiming to match the professionalism of our clients during meetings. The workplace fosters a collaborative and collegial atmosphere where team members actively support each other.
