We are looking for a passionate and motivated mechanic to join our dynamic team in the town of Prevost.
Please note that we do not have to spend 40 hours of mechanical maintenance work on our production site. The candidate will be requested to help you with other tasks such as packaging, recycling, feeding the machines, and other related shop plant duries.
Responsibilities:
Perform emergency/unforeseen repairs on production equipment during production.
Prepare machines for scheduled production cycles.
Diagnose malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs or replace defective parts.
Contact suppliers for pricing, parts, and quotes required for production.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on production machines as needed.
Read and interpret equipment manuals to carry out the required maintenance and service.
Perform routine preventive maintenance.
Track inventory of machines/equipment along with their respective spare parts.
Keep building maintenance up to date.
Requirements:
Diploma in mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field.
Previous experience in production equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
