<p>Our manufacturing client is seeking an experienced and results-driven <strong>Materials Manager</strong> in <strong>Collingwood, ON</strong> to lead inventory control, production planning, and materials coordination in our fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring timely customer deliveries, efficient use of resources, and alignment with financial and operational goals.<br>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>
<p>Coordinate manufacturing operations using capacity planning and Sales & Operation Planning tools to meet customer demand</p>

<li>
<p>Lead inventory control activities including accuracy, cycle counts, and physical inventories</p>

<li>
<p>Manage material planning, production scheduling, and packaging supply to support 100% on-time delivery</p>

<li>
<p>Control SCOP functional costs (packaging, freight, storage, etc.) within budget</p>

<li>
<p>Maintain accurate part and cost data in SAP and proprietary systems (e.g., PASS, COGNOS, NIAPS, FPACS)</p>

<li>
<p>Communicate directly with customers regarding supply issues, delivery commitments, and order status</p>

<li>
<p>Ensure compliance with ISO 14000 and TS16949 standards, supporting continuous improvement</p>

<li>
<p>Participate in long-term planning and RFQ processes to support business growth</p>

<li>
<p>Monitor nonconforming product, initiate corrective actions, and support quality system integrity</p>

<li>
<p>Support team performance through strong communication, coaching, and human resource planning</p>

<p><strong>What You Bring:</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>
<p>University degree in a related field</p>

<li>
<p>7–10 years of relevant experience in automotive manufacturing (unionized environment is an asset)</p>

<li>
<p>Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills</p>

<li>
<p>Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with systems such as SAP, PASS, COGNOS, and others</p>

<li>
<p>Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities</p>

</ul>
