Position Summary:

Maintains inventory by identifying, labelling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.

This is a fixed-term, 18-month assignment.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Work in accordance to approved Standard Operating Procedures and Environmental, Health and Safety procedures

  • Material Handler II is responsible for loading and unloading materials within a warehouse storage facility by utilizing pump trucks, forklifts, walkies, and other material handling equipment to move material within the storage facility and transferring to third-party warehouses

  • Accurately record and update electronic system on flow information of materials and products


  • Verify all raw material request forms and BOM from production and accurately pick, pack, and coordinate dedicated transport facility to meet the just-in-time operation support between sites

  • Receive incoming materials and ensure that the goods are for the Company and the contents are as stated in the packing slip or return slip

  • Prepare all the necessary documentation required to complete the shipment of clinical or final products upon receiving shipment instructions


  • Maintain the shipping/ receiving area in a neat and orderly manner as required by cGMP and health and safety regulations

  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory across all processes ensuring full outgoing accountability

  • Performs all other job-related tasks as assigned



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience and certification/license with forklifts and walkies


  • Computer literacy skills (Excel, Word, Inventory Management systems)

  • Effective problem solving/judgment skills

  • Able to interact with others at all levels within the Company


  • Able to meet the heavy physical effort of the job

  • Valid drivers’ license required



Preferred Qualifications:


  • High School graduate

  • Previous warehouse experience with understanding of shipping, receiving and inventory management processes

  • Previous certification in WHMIS, TDG and ERP an asset

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $16.50 – $25.50 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills and knowledge.
