How You’ll Make an Impact
The Material Handler will be an integral part of a dynamic team, supporting all shipping and receiving operations at Valvoline Canada’s Mississauga, Ontario facility

 

Responsibilities Include

• Perform shipping activities, including picking, staging, and loading customer orders, and completing all associated documentation
• Execute receiving duties such as unloading inbound stock and return orders, with accurate completion of required paperwork
• Support inventory management through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with company guidelines
• Coordinate customer order fulfillment, including scheduling and preparing shipments with designated carriers
• Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office tools to maintain accurate records and support logistics processes
• Contribute to 5S housekeeping initiatives to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Actively follow all safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety
• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned at Valvoline’s discretion to support overall operational needs

 

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50lbs occasionally
• Manufacturing and/or warehouse operations experience
• Valid forklift certification
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills, including SAP experience
