PROTOCOL SPORTS MARKETING LTD., a well-established, international sports media rights distribution company, is looking to add a motivated and tenacious self-starter to its fast-expanding team.


We are a growing company working in midtown Toronto looking for a Project Manager - MARKETING to support our international marketing operations, partner relations, and media rights initiatives.



Key Responsibilities

Marketing, Digital & Social Media

  • Develop and execute marketing, digital, email, and social media strategies to promote company initiatives and sports media properties.
  • Maintain and update company social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and audience engagement.
  • Manage and update the company CRM and internal databases.
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of marketing collateral, including presentations, briefs, newsletters, press releases, website content, and promotional material.
  • Conduct market research to support marketing strategies and business development.
  • Lead website management, including design concepts, content updates, and digital asset organization.
  • Generate new marketing and promotional ideas to support company growth.

Public Relations

  • Develop and implement PR strategies for clients, partners, and public audiences.
  • Support interviews, media interactions, and act as a spokesperson when required.
  • Attend and coordinate trade shows, conferences, meetings, and promotional events.

Project & Client/Partner Management / Sports Media Rights & Contract Coordination

  • Lead and manage marketing-related projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Assist in business development and maintain partner/client relations with promoters, producers, federations, rights holders, broadcasters, and streaming services worldwide.
  • Assist internal teams with deal memos, rights documentation, contract processing, and digital asset management.
  • Coordinate promotional materials with sports federations, promoters, rights holders, and provide these materials to broadcasters and streaming platforms.
  • Support the organization and tracking of sports media rights, contractual obligations, and rights-related documentation.



Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a full-service sports marketing company in marketing, project management, or client relations.
  • A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related
  • Experience working with international clients across multiple regions and familiarity with sports markets worldwide.
  • Strong understanding of global sports properties, federations, and broadcast environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing professional marketing and PR materials.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, social media management, CRM systems, and project coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.



Employment Details for LMIA

  • Salary: CAD $ 37.50 p/h
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
  • Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
