We are seeking a temporary Marketing and Communications Specialist (MCS) to work with leadership and project managers to support various communications and marketing initiatives.

Location: VancouverEmployment Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/week), term (14 – 18 months) – (February 2024 – April 2025). Bunt will consider candidates who wish to work 28 – 30 hours per week, providing they are able to attend the downtown Vancouver office at least 50% of workdays.ResponsibilitiesRegular tracking of Requests for Qualifications, Proposals, Expressions of InterestProposal preparation coordination: assisting Bunt professional and technical staff in developing a proposal plan from kick-off meeting to production, assembling proposal preparation resources, establishing and monitoring proposal deadlinesProposal document preparation: document design and layout, assembly of supporting marketing collateral such as resumes, project experience, etc., preparation and sourcing of graphics and images, integrating scope and fee content from others, final editing and formatting to ensure quality and design standards are met, and print managementWork with internal leads and external service providers to advance Bunt’s market image and presence;Maintain company visual and brand identity/standards;Create and maintain marketing collateral including promotional materials, product and service literature;Sourcing, formatting, and maintaining digital asset databases; Create and maintain resumes, promo sheets, and presentations;Source, coordinate and maintain supplies of promotional products and branded items for internal and external events;Create engaging and relevant content for website and social media platforms, relating posts and articles to Bunt projects and initiatives;Maintain Bunt’s client/project databases;Source, coordinate, and maintain supplies of promotional products as needed;Provide graphic design assistance to support success on our projects as needed;Create internal newsletters to promote employee communications;Provide research assistance for business development and marketing initiatives;Coordinate and/or support corporate and location-specific marketing and communications events and initiatives including those for staff, professional affiliations, educational/recruitment events and presentations;Ability to travel to other Bunt offices (Victoria, Kelowna, Calgary and Edmonton) approximately twice per year.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or Diploma from an accredited college or university in English, marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or related discipline;A minimum of two (2) years’ post-graduate corporate communications experience, preferably in a related industry, including the creation of content for social media and websites;Minimum of one (1) year of experience in supporting and coordinating proposals;Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas into concise content for a variety of stakeholders;A commitment to actively cultivating an inclusive and growth mindset;Demonstrated competencies of diplomacy, sound judgement and inclusion;Proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other graphics programs;Recent experience with WordPress website platform;Understanding and experience with digital analytics to identify and measure successful initiatives;Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple deliverables;A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills;Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work collaboratively and creatively with others;Bunt & Associates offers a friendly and supportive work environment which includes the opportunity to have a hybrid (up to 50% upon completion of probation) work from home arrangement, a vibrant and dynamic social culture and a competitive compensation/total rewards package.
