Our Toronto financial client is seeking a Marketing Account Manager on a contract basis. This role serves as the key liaison for advisors on marketing matters. Responsibilities include strategic consultation, project management, and nurturing relationships with advisor teams across Toronto, regional areas, and select nationwide offices.

In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Manager, Advisor Marketing, the Marketing Account Manager ensures comprehensive marketing support.

Responsibilities:

Provide proactive marketing strategies and manage competing advisor demands

  • Coordinate Boutique Marketing activities, encompassing campaign handling, proofreading, copywriting/editing, design coordination, and approvals
  • Develop tailored marketing strategies for advisor teams using digital and traditional methods
  • Assist in onboarding new recruits, ensuring a seamless marketing experience
  • Maintain meticulous project documentation and manage project flow among advisors, vendors, and the marketing team
  • Create ad-hoc marketing materials like communications and email campaigns
  • Aid in developing prospect generation, seminars, and awareness programs
  • Provide training and support on digital platforms to advisor teams
  • Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with accounting on departmental expenditures


Requirements:

  • 5 years finance-related marketing and account management experience preferred
  • College or University degree
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Solutions-focused relationship manager adept at handling multiple projects
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach
  • Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work independently and within a team
