Summary: As the Warehouse Manager at Maple Supply Chain Management Inc., you will oversee all aspects of our Distribution Center’s operations in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role requires a high sense of urgency and responsibility for managing and optimizing complex warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management: Guide and support warehouse operations, emphasizing safety, service, and financial goals. Lead the supervisory team and warehouse staff to achieve these goals, ensuring operational alignment.
  2. Operational Excellence: Develop and manage efficient schedules to optimize productivity. Monitor KPIs to ensure processes meet standards and exceed customer expectations.
  3. Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  4. Financial Oversight: Manage the warehouse’s financial operations, including budgeting and cost savings. Prepare financial reports and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety policies are followed, conduct inspections and training, and uphold workplace safety standards.
  6. Employee Management: Manage, train, and develop warehouse staff. Foster a culture of excellence and motivate the team for peak performance.
  7. Performance Management: Monitor departmental KPIs and evaluate performance. Act as the primary liaison with customers to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Facility Management: Supervise facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and warehousing standards. Recommend operational improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: University degree or college diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, and logistics management, preferably in a high-velocity distribution environment.

Location: Brampton, ON

Workplace: On-site


Salary: $60,000 to $85,000 annually

Terms of employment: Full-time

Start date: As soon as possible
