Manager Tax - Planning and Compliance

About the Opportunity
Manage the entire tax function of the firm including:
- Compliance, improving the overall tax filing process
- Keep abreast with tax research
- Review all tax returns ensuring quality control
- Oversee all correspondence with CRA
- Participate on tax research and tax planning engagements
About You
- Completed an undergraduate degree and CPA or CPA, CA or
- Currently a Tax Manager with 3-5+ years of experience within a Public Accounting tax environment, ideally the tax department of a major accounting firm with no preference on industry
- Completion of CPA In-depth tax course or graduated from the MTax program
- Excellent knowledge of Canadian tax laws and IFRS tax accounting and reporting
- Experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax provisions and Canadian corporate tax returns
- Experience with tax compliance, filings and Quality Control
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Team oriented, collaborative working style
Salary
$100,000/year
