If so, this is the right opportunity for you</p><p>Rise Air is looking for a Manager, Information Technology Systems to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.</p><p>Under the guidance of the Director, Systems and IT, this position is responsible for the oversight and function of the company's IT and software requirements across all bases and locations.</p><p>What You Will Do:</p><ul><li>Lead and manage the IT team, providing mentorship and performance evaluations to create a high-performing IT team.</li><li>Plan, execute, and close projects on time and within budget, maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating communication with stakeholders.</li><li>Develop and implement IT strategies that are aligned with business goals, primarily long-term software planning.</li><li>Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic business initiatives.</li><li>Analyze workflows, identify opportunities for digital improvement, and lead technology adoption initiatives, including conducting workshops and presentations.</li><li>Monitor and mitigate security risks and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.</li><li>Oversee IT budgets, vendor contracts and cost optimizations throughout the tech stack of the business.</li><li>Establish IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to aid the organization with overall compliance.</li><li>Establish and monitor IT performance metrics and service level agreements to ensure continuous improvement and accountability.</li><li>Design, build, and maintain the foundational infrastructure required for a business intelligence environment, including the creation and management of a data lake and integration solutions to support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities.</li></ul><p>Your Qualifications:</p><ul><li>A Class 5 Driver's License is required.</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related field (a combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered).</li><li>8-10 years experience in IT with at least 3 years in a management or similar role.</li><li>Experience developing, testing, and implementing IT standards, policies, and procedures in a complex, distributed organization.</li><li>Experience in the aviation sector is considered an asset.</li></ul><p>To succeed in this role, you are bringing:</p><ul><li>Strong leadership and team management kills.</li><li>Strong project management skills.</li><li>Proficiency in network management, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and best practices.</li><li>Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication skills are required.</li><li>Exceptional relationship building and customer service-oriented skills.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in managing competing individual and team priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.</li><li>Demonstrated business acumen including the understanding of budgets, forecasting, and business case financials.</li></ul><p>Why Rise Air?</p><p>Rise Air is Saskatchewan's largest full-service airline, proudly 100% Indigenous-owned, and committed to building an inclusive, inspiring, and supportive workplace.</p><p>We offer a robust benefit package including Life Insurance, Extended Health, Dental, Vision coverage, a wellness allowance and RRSP contribution matching.
