<h3>Position</h3>
<p>Manager, Commercial Strategy (Joint Reconstruction)<br/>Remote based in Canada. The candidate should reside near a major city to facilitate travel plans.</p>
<h3>Purpose</h3>
<p>A strategic leader responsible for driving platform growth through identifying sales opportunities, accelerating innovation adoption, and fostering key partnerships. Oversees account segmentation, monitors performance metrics, and contributes to marketing strategies for innovation. Supports team development by enhancing clinical and marketing expertise and leads market expansion initiatives to maximize business impact in the Canadian healthcare sector.</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead strategic efforts to drive platform growth by identifying and capitalizing on key sales opportunities with internal stakeholders, customers, and field sales teams.</li>
<li>Develop and implement sales processes to promote innovation adoption, ensuring accountability and execution in partnership with the Business Development Director.</li>
<li>Design and execute comprehensive account planning strategies, fostering critical partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize growth potential.</li>
<li>Cultivate purposeful relationships with key clinical customers to accelerate growth and facilitate innovation adoption.</li>
<li>Lead the account segmentation strategy for the platform, ensuring tailored approaches for maximum impact.</li>
<li>Monitor, communicate, and analyze sales performance, innovation adoption metrics, and major events outcomes.</li>
<li>Contribute insights into marketing strategies for New Product Introductions (NPI) and pricing models.</li>
<li>Lead Voice of Customer assessment for market expansion.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Major Duties & Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Delivery of Sales and Income Platform’s commitments. (15%)</li>
<li>Develop and Execute Key Growth Opportunities: Lead the formulation, alignment and implementation of marketing and sales initiatives to drive competitive conversion across Canada, ensuring alignment with policies and budgets. (25%)</li>
<li>Account Planning and Partnership Development: Design comprehensive account plans, build strategic partnerships with key customers, and foster relationships that support growth and innovation. (25%)</li>
<li>Drive Innovation Adoption: Identify, prioritize, and lead key sales opportunities by collaborating with internal stakeholders, customers, and field sales teams to accelerate innovation adoption and maximize revenue. (25%)</li>
<li>Provide market insights to anticipate trends and deepen customer knowledge to internal stakeholders to optimize all commercial initiatives. (10%)</li>
</ul>
<h3>Other Duties</h3>
<ul>
<li>Possesses in-depth understanding of competitors’ strategies, services, and products and anticipates their next moves.</li>
<li>Contributes to the pricing strategy in alignment with global pricing guidance and local pricing policy.</li>
<li>Development of RFP strategies and support submissions.</li>
<li>Track, analyze, and communicate sales performance, innovation adoption metrics, and major event outcomes to ensure objectives are met and strategies are adjusted as needed.</li>
<li>Drive product portfolio growth in procedures through procedure expansion.</li>
<li>Coordinate with cross‑functional partners to maximize effectiveness of all growth plans and tactics.</li>
<li>Attend related industry conferences.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<b>Required Education and Experience:</b>
<ul>
<li>University degree is required; MBA preferred.</li>
<li>A minimum of 6 years relevant business experience (e.g., sales, business development, franchise development, marketing).</li>
<li>Minimum of 4 years marketing and/or sales experience in Orthopaedic/Medical Device.</li>
<li>Up to 60% domestic and international travel may be required.</li>
</ul>
<b>Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:</b>
<ul>
<li>Joint Reconstruction clinical knowledge with the ability to translate clinical concepts and needs for both sales teams and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Canadian orthopaedics market dynamics knowledge, and an understanding of workflows relevant to innovation adoption and regulatory/commercial constraints.</li>
<li>Proven experience in gaining alignment with multiple stakeholders, in a matrixed environment.</li>
<li>Ability to drive change and innovation adoption with customers and enabling sales teams.</li>
<li>Skill in designing, capitalizing and implementing key business opportunities through insights from internal stakeholders, customers, and field teams, to drive platform growth and innovation adoption.</li>
<li>Expertise in designing comprehensive tender strategies and account plans, and leading segmentation strategies to tailor approaches for maximum impact.</li>
<li>Ability to cultivate purposeful, trust‑based relationships with key clinical customers and internal stakeholders to accelerate growth and adoption.</li>
</ul>
<b>Preferred:</b>

<li>Ability to communicate in French is preferred.</li>
