OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to help us keep our Vehicle Logistic Center (VLC) in top shape. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in facility maintenance and custodial tasks.

You Are:
Handy. You can complete a broad range of maintenance tasks, including minor repairs for equipment.
Adaptable. You will be able to pause & shift tasks to assist other departments with priority requests.

Dependable. You are reliable and can be counted on to complete your tasks as assigned.
You Will:
Ensure the VLC building(s) are in good working condition, including maintaining and repairing equipment, following a maintenance schedule, and responding to breakdowns or service requests
Monitor equipment, parts, and supplies, ensuring adequate inventory and ordering necessary supplies
General custodial duties, including cleaning of floors, washrooms, sale lanes, and groundskeeping
Maintain the exterior of the property, including light landscaping, removing trash, and general upkeep
Coordinate snow and ice removal from lots, walkways, and egress routes
Assist Operations Manager with identifying and completing maintenance projects and repairs
Trained to operate our tow truck for tows needed around the facility
Must Haves:
2-5 years’ experience in a maintenance role
Valid Drivers’ license is required
Basic computer & smartphone skills required
Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently
Nice to Haves:
Ability to drive both standard & automatic transmissions
Bilingual in French and English is an asset
Qualified/Experienced in operating plow trucks, bobcats, loaders, and/ or tow trucks is strongly preferred
