<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p></p><p>THOAR Mining provides a wide variety of services in the support and operation of mining, ranging from project management, supervision, underground construction, maintenance, and mining equipment operation.</p><p>We have a need for an experienced, safety conscious leader for a <strong> Maintenance Supervisor (Mine) </strong>at a mine site near Saskatoon, SK.</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><ul><li>This is a <strong>full-time, permanent </strong>position</li><li><strong>Schedule</strong>: 4, 10-Hour Shifts – Monday – Thursday</li><li><strong>Full time UG </strong></li><li><strong>LOA</strong> for those who qualify</li></ul><p></p><p>If you bring <span >maintenance/production</span> experience with a commitment to safety, quality, diversity and inclusion, and teamwork, we want to hear from you! As a <strong>Maintenance Supervisor,</strong> you will be responsible for supporting the continuous planning, maintenance, and operations of the site to ensure resource allocation and effective work management.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for employee tradespersons</li><li>Responsible for Belt line Drives, Rebuild shop, Fire Suppression systems and any welding and Fabrication requirements.</li><li>Supervise and oversee maintenance planning and scheduling through effective communication and cohesive alignment with other departments in the mine, including supervisors, tradespersons, operators, vendors, and contractors.</li><li>Ensure all employees adhere to site policies and procedures set forth by the client.</li><li>Prepare, facilitate, and track specific work packages to execute schedule-driven projects.</li><li>Facilitate ongoing communication to ensure proper and efficient contract operation, allocation of resources, safety, and environmental standards.</li><li>Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and general maintenance inspections.</li><li>Plan and coordinate jobs, manage inventory levels, communicate with suppliers, and source parts as necessary.</li><li>Work with operations to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, and participate effectively in preventive maintenance planning and execution, striving for continuous improvement and cost control.</li><li>Oversee asset management programs and contractor management.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Journeyperson Certificate of Qualification from the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship & Trade Certification Commission as a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic, Journeyperson Welder/CWB certified or Mechanical Engineering Degree with specific site experience on a mine site surface or underground is preferred.</li><li>Mechanical Technologist Diploma will also be considered.</li><li>CWB certification an asset</li><li>5+ years of experience in maintenance and production in the industrial/mining industry.</li><li>Experience in Mills with Pumps / Belt Systems / Crushing and Milling Circuits and Infrastructure.</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of Borers / Drum cutters / Rehab Equipment / Conveyor Systems and Auxiliary Equipment.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written);</li><li>Knowledge of commonly used software packages including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, time and attendance systems, and maintenance monitoring and management systems (SAP).</li><li>Proactive and able to manage tight deadlines.</li></ul><p><strong>Client Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>A pre-employment drug and alcohol test will be required. </li></ul><p>THOAR Mining offers competitive compensation, a workplace committed to safety, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as a professional approach to all aspects of our work in the mining industry, to foster your personal and professional growth.</p><p>Our total compensation package includes:</p><ul><li>Competitive Wages</li><li>Comprehensive Benefits Plan including Health Care, Dental, and Vision</li></ul><p></p></p></p>
