Job Description
HCR Permanent Search is currently working with a top manufacturing company in the Richmond Hill area who needs to hire a Maintenance Supervisor. What they are looking for is someone who has been employed as a Maintenance Supervisor is fast paced manufacturing setting.
This role is 100% on site
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Competitive Wage
- A valid trades license (Electrician or Millwright) from the Province of Ontario
- Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or Manager while being employed in a fast paced manufacturing setting
- Working knowledge of electrical codes, PLC’s, hydraulics and pneumatics
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that the team always work with a safety first mentality
- Assigns tasks to the maintenance team based on priority of the situation as well as preventative maintenance
- Maintain documentation on equipment as well as the building infrastructure
- Reviews the work performance of employees. Also approves vacation requests.
- Trains new employees
- Ensures that workers are following 5S protocols and completes the 5s checklist
