Our client is looking for a Maintenance Associate for their location in Brampton, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly respond to resident issues and service requests
- Perform general maintenance to properties including light and heavy maintenance
- Execute plumbing, carpentry, painting and basic electrical repairs
- Maintain clean and tidy properties, ensuring interior and surrounding grounds are kept in excellent condition
- Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine repairs or preventative maintenance
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years maintenance or related experience
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry and painting
- Flexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule is required
- Certifications from one of the trade professions is a definite asset
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to interact courteously and professionally with tenants, colleagues and contractors
