What will your daily life be like?

You will develop, operate and adjust a wide range of CNC machine tools – including lathes, grinding machines, milling machines, spark machining machines and laser cutting machines – to machine new parts and repair worn parts.

To do this, you will need to:

  • Work from drawings, standard work instructions, drafts and verbal instructions from the supervisor or team leader
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts using precision measuring instruments such as jigs and coordinate measuring machines

You will also need to support quality management, equipment maintenance and material bearing. To do this, you will have to:

  • Maintain logbooks
  • Perform simple deburring
  • Make installations of details such as sockets and nuts
  • Washing, storing, packing and moving parts

You will demonstrate your commitment to excellence and help create a world-class manufacturing environment:

  • Ensure that standards and specifications of parts are met
  • Organize and keep your workstation in order
  • Meeting our high standards for occupational health and safety

You will develop your skills and work closely with your colleagues to improve the work environment:

  • Participate in hands-on training to improve your current skills and learn new skills
  • Share your knowledge and best practices with other team members
  • Contribute to the development of new parts or procedures for particular methods and tools

What you need to succeed

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP) in machining technology
  • ASP Machining on CNC machine tools
  • DEC mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Fluency in French, both oral and written

Atouts :

  • 1 à 2 années d’expérience pertinente
  • Connaissance de l’anglais
