Previous experience in a similar Machine Operating role is an asset.</p><p>This is a permanent, full-time role. The successful candidate must be available to work ALL of the following shifts:</p><ul><li>Day shift - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm</li><li>Afternoon shift - 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm</li><li>Midnight shift - 10:00 pm to 6:30 am</li></ul><p>Night shifts will receive a premium to be applied in addition to the hourly base salary.</p><p>WHAT WE OFFER</p><ul><li>Company paid benefits – Medical, Dental and Vision</li><li>Annual cost of living salary increases</li><li>Profit-sharing Program</li><li>Family Assistance Program</li><li>Staff Discounts</li><li>Comprehensive training</li><li>S.T.E.P program – student aid for part time employees in full time school</li><li>A supportive and growth-oriented management team</li><li>A great work environment with collaborative and caring colleagues</li></ul><p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul><li>Reading and understanding batch tickets</li><li>In-process testing and interpretation of results, rapidly and accurately</li><li>Record keeping and reports on daily operations, scheduling and assisting in inventory control</li><li>Accurate weighing and loading of kettle</li><li>Capable of all computer operations</li><li>All mechanical operations of the resin plant</li><li>Maintenance and cleaning of equipment</li><li>Emergency and safety procedures</li><li>Operation of forklift and hoists, forklift certificate</li><li>Dangerous Goods Certificate</li><li>Maintain clean work area</li><li>Report shortages to Production Supervisor</li><li>Follow plant safety procedures</li><li>Follow written procedures in place for this position</li><li>Report all safety hazards to the Production Supervisor</li><li>Follow work schedule</li></ul><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul><li>Completion of high school diploma and/or 2 years experience in related field</li><li>Strong communication skills, and be competent in math and numeric comprehension</li><li>Ability to be trained and certified on mobile equipment</li><li>Ability to read and understand formulas</li><li>Available for shift work and overtime</li><li>Physically capable of lifting and maneuvering 50 pounds</li><li>Capable of standing for long periods of time</li><li>Good mechanical aptitude</li><li>Dependable and responsible individual with the ability to work with minimum supervision</li></ul><p><em>Our employees enjoy excellent work environments, respectful workplaces with credible leadership and receive fair remuneration and annual profit sharing.
