Join our team We are actively looking for a Logistics Coordinator based in Calgary to complete our Production Planning and Logistics team. About the Role – Your main responsibilities will include: Communicate daily production status with the Foreman/Production Manager; Follow all ASA production procedures and drive continuous improvement initiatives; Ensure compliance with shift start times and break schedules; Act as a resource person and step in when necessary to support the team; Perform additional tasks as assigned by management; Ensure the proper maintenance of machines, trucks, trailers, forklifts, and office facilities; Verify that all hauling equipment is roadworthy and safe to use; Inform the Foreman/Production Manager of material needs for job sites; Communicate any potential or actual health and safety risks to workers; Enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required; Report any incidents or accidents directly to the Supervisor; Enforce company health and safety rules, policies, and procedures; Maintain a professional attitude at all times; Engage actively with your role and team, clearly communicating expectations; Celebrate employee accomplishments with recognition and praise; Attend regular weekly meetings with the Production Manager to stay aligned with ongoing projects. About You – The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: 2-3 years of experience in logistics and production processes, including planning for trailers and trucks; A diploma in logistics or a related field; Must be available to start early in the morning (4:00 or 5:00 AM) and be willing to work occasionally on Saturdays as needed; Experience in a manufacturing environment; Proficient computer skills.
