Job Duties * Plan and schedule outbound shipments to maximize trailer utilization and minimize transportation costs * Consolidate loads by geographical region and carrier to minimize transportation costs. * Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bills of Lading (BOL), packing lists, and load sheets. * Tender loads to carrier and warehouse * First point of contact for load tender issues and concerns. * Reply to emails in group email in a timely manner. * Review daily reports for opportunity to consolidate. * Provide administrative support in completing all tasks assigned in a timely manner. * Communicate and escalate any carrier issues to the Manager. * Additional tasks may be assigned if required. Requirements * 1-3 years’ experience in a customer service environment * Excel skills are a must, ie. pivot tables, v-lookup, etc. * Prior knowledge of JDA, WMS, and TMS * Experience in a 3rd party logistics environment preferred. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * Must be a resourceful self-starter. * Team player skills with demonstrated abilities to interact well with all levels of associates. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Strong organizational skills. * Works well under pressure. * Fluent in English and Korean preferred Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00 per hour Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
