ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Line Cook at The Chase plays a key role delivering the elevated dining experience that defines The Chase. This individual is responsible for executing dishes with precision and consistency, maintaining full ownership of their station from setup and prep to service and cleanup. The ideal candidate demonstrates a genuine passion for the culinary arts, a deep respect for fresh, seasonal ingredients, and a commitment to excellence in every plate served. Working in a fast-paced, fine dining environment, the Line Cook upholds the highest standards of quality, presentation, and sanitation while collaborating with the kitchen team to create memorable experiences for our guests.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • High level of professionalism during peak service hours.
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Ensure strict hygiene, kitchen standards, and food safety protocols at all times.
  • Prepare and organize stations for seamless service.
  • Manage time efficiently during service and preparation.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and team members.
  • Adapt to menu changes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace at all times.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive kitchen environment.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years experience as a Line Cook or relevant role preferred.
  • Passionate about food and hospitality, committed to delivering great guest experiences.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work long-standing shifts and perform physical tasks like lifting and pushing.
  • Flexible to work full-time hours (4+ shifts), including days, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application.
  • Must have reliable means of transportation to commute to and from the restaurant, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
