*CareCorp Senior Services is a trusted agency company who provides superior healthcare, food services, housekeeping and laundry service to long-term care facilities across BC.* *We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for the elderly to join our team at our beautiful Long-Term Care Facilities.* *Facility Address: *Mountain Lake Seniors Community, Nelson, BC *Position Details: Day, evening and night shifts available.* *Compensation: *$32.84 per hour *Responsibilities:* * Performs assessments. * Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents. * Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures * Directly supervises care staff to meet resident’s needs. * Performs other duties as assigned. *Qualifications:* * Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. * Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. * Current CPR and First Aid certification. * Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. * Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred). * Cultural education and experience are preferred Job Type: Casual Pay: $32.
