<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>About the Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RhynoCare is seeking an experienced <strong>Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) </strong>to work in Long Term Care facilities in <strong>Brandon, Manitoba</strong>. We offer competitive compensation, flexible scheduling options, and ongoing support so you can focus on what you do best - delivering exceptional care. </p><p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p><p>As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and comfort of all patients. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide safe, competent, and ethical nursing and personal care inaccordance with CLPNM standards, organizational policies, physician orders, and resident care plans. </li><li>Apply evidence informed decision making and professional judgment to support residents&#39; physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs. </li><li>Ensure family and resident centered and respectful care. promoting dignity, autonomy, and resident choice in all interactions. </li><li>Support safe and timely admissions, transfers, and discharges. ensuring clear communication and coordination with residents, families, and the healthcare team. </li><li>Maintain accountability for the secure administration, control, and safekeeping of all medications and treatments, including narcotics, in compliance with legislative and organizational requirements. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, demonstrating leadership and guidance to PSWs, and other staff as appropriate. </li><li>Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) </li><li>Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies, initiating interventions and following established protocols. </li><li>Support training and orientation of new staff to ensure quality resident care </li><li>Contribute to a culture of safety, quality improvement and continuous learning, identifying and reporting risks and incidents in a timely manner. </li><li>Demonstrate commitment to Rhynocare&#39;s mission of delivering high-quality, compassionate care by upholding the values of discipline, integrity, collaboration, and empowerment. </li><li>Provide care that is guided by innovation, respect, and a dedication to supporting healthier, more fulfilling lives for all individuals. </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Current and active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Flexibility to work various shift lengths (8 or 12 hours), as required by the facility schedule </li><li>Able and willing to work in different units within a healthcare facility based on staffing needs </li><li>Reliability and commitment to scheduled shifts, in line with RhynoCare&#39;s attendance and cancellation policy. </li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><ul><li>Pay<strong>: $40 - $45 / hour </strong>(depending on experience and assignment) </li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer Statement:</strong></p><p>We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
