Join us in making a positive impact in the lives of those we serve</p><p>Position Overview:</p><p>We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to residents, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.</li><li>Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans.</li><li>Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the nursing team.</li><li>Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.</li><li>Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident care.</li><li>Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Valid LPN license in British Columbia (BCCN&M Registration)</li><li>Current CPR / First Aide Certification.</li><li>Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team.</li><li>Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.</li></ul><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance - effective as per your first day worked.</li><li>Paid time off and holiday pay.</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: From $32.84 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p>Application question(s):</p><ul><li>Do you have a valid BCCN&M registration number?</li><li>Do you have a valid CPR / First Aide Certificate?</li><li>How many years of long-term care (or similar) experience do you have?</li><li>Are you living in the Kamloops or surrounding area(s) and can easily commute to / from work?</li><li>If you are relocating, how long after an offer is extended to you anticipate being able to start in this position?</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
