Licensed Plumber

Job Description

Candidate must have full journeyman Plumbing License under the Skilled Trades of Ontario.<br />Must be able to, or willing to learn to:<br /> Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems<br /> Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems<br /> Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors<br /> Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings<br /> Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines<br /> Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering.<br /> Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges<br />Job Type: Full-time<br />Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour<br />Benefits:<br /> Casual dress<br /> Company car<br /> Dental care<br /> On-site parking<br /> Vision care<br />Ability to commute/relocate:<br /> Chatham-Kent, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)<br />Education:<br /> AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)<br />Experience:<br /> plumbing: 2 years (preferred)<br />Work Location: On the road
