<p>Overview<br><br>We are looking for an experienced overhead door technician to be a lead technician and work with an apprentice to complete installations, service calls, planned maintenance inspections and services. We provide a truck and power tools. The candidate will be responsible for their own hand tools. Health benefits are available. Overtime is paid after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. The company truck is available to be taken home. A signing bonus is available for the right candidate. Customer service is of the utmost importance. Troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities are extremely important.</p><p>Duties<br><br>- Maintain a proper stock of parts in the work truck<br><br>- Maintain a clean work truck<br><br>- Service, diagnose, repair and replace parts on commercial and residential overhead doors<br><br>- Install new operators on residential and commercial overhead doors<br><br>- Install new commercial and residential overhead doors<br><br>- Measure openings and assess sites for new projects<br><br>- Maintain good relations with customers to ensure a positive customer experience</p><p>Qualifications<br><br>- Proven experience in a lead technician or similar role<br><br>- Proficiency in all aspects of overhead doors, operators and other accessories<br><br>- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship<br><br>- Excellent problem-solving skills<br><br>- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively<br><br>- Certification or training in relevant technical and safety areas is a plus</p><p>Join our team as a Lead Technician and showcase your technical expertise in a dynamic work environment.</p><p>We offer over time pay, health benefits and full time work in a rapidly growing company.</p><p>This is a great opportunity for someone with some experience and skills to position themselves for a great long term position within the company.</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: $35.00-$37.00 per hour</p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental care</li><li>Extended health care</li><li>Vision care</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Overhead Door: 2 years (required)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul><li>Driving Licence (required)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p>
