Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Hand Warehouse Associate to join our team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with warehouse operations, proven leadership skills, and valid forklift certification. This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and enjoys guiding a team toward operational success.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of warehouse associates in daily operations.
- Coordinate order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure proper inventory control, accuracy, and documentation.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to maintain productivity and safety standards.
- Monitor workflow and communicate with supervisors and management on progress and challenges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or lead hand role.
- Valid forklift certification with strong practical operating experience.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials as required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and support a team in achieving operational goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
