Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)</p><p>As the Lead Auditor, the incumbent will co-ordinate and conduct internal audits within the organization in accordance with the applicable Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Audit Ground Transportation System - Management System (GTS MS) processes to ensure planned activities are met, implemented, and managed in accordance with the documented policies, procedures, and instructions. Maintain country-level tools that support GTS MS implementation.</p><h3>Key Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Provide recommendations for improvement with respect to Quality Systems, processes, and standards.</li><li>Solicit the organization for improvements.</li><li>Resolve all findings to satisfactory resolution in due time.</li><li>Provide guidance and training as it applies to the Quality Management System (QMS).</li><li>Plan and coordinate Country-level shared service audits.</li><li>Participate in and may lead Country and Site auditing.</li><li>Deliver audit training.</li><li>Plan audit activities to ensure established ISO Standards and other Contractual standards are met and maintained.</li><li>Conduct internal audits at all unit locations to assess the degree of compliance with established procedures.</li><li>Prepare timely reports, analyze audit results, and identify non-conformance trends.</li><li>Submit and manage audit findings to timely closure.</li><li>Coordinate and implement Process Implementation Verification System (PIVS) activities.</li><li>Support the PIVS administrator role for country operations.</li><li>Coordinate the preparation, review, and update of all Chorus Canada documentation.</li><li>Maintain and communicate the Internal Audits website.</li><li>Maintain required compliance matrices.</li><li>Generate monthly metrics on audit performance, audit reports, and identify trends.</li><li>Provide recommendations for improvements to the quality management system.</li><li>Support external audits as required.</li><li>Provide data trends to support Annual Management Review and maintain audit schedules.</li></ul><h3>Key Requirements</h3><ul><li>Post-secondary education.</li><li>10+ years of experience as a Lead Auditor</li><li>Practical Audit experience in Software engineering background</li><li>Familiarity with the following standards:<ul><li>ISO 9001:2008.</li><li>ISO 14004:2004.</li><li>OHSAS 18001:2007.</li><li>ISO 27001:2022.</li></ul></li><li>Lead Auditor certification.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>In-depth work experience with Quality Standards.</li><li>Significant experience with Quality Management System requirements.</li><li>Proficient understanding of soft- and hardware engineering processes is an asset.</li></ul><p>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
