The Tape Library team provide on-site support 7 days a week, 12 hours per day. The will be responsible of the first level of support and intervention. It will give him the possibility of monitoring and following-up of systems requests tape mounts and movements. Must be vigilant and proactive in order to avoid or minimize any incident or delays.

It will give him the possibility to be introduced to many technology and tools.Furthermore, as he will be a part of a company which has offices in more than 40 countries, you will have the occasion to collaborate with colleagues around the world.We offer a dynamic environment, flexible and numerous possibilities of career opportunitiesFirst Level of support-Take charge of the incident or requests.-Execute and log daily activities within a daily checklist/shift log-Ensure backup tapes are stored onsite and shipped offsite in a organized and professional manner which includes Ensure tapes are not damaged.-Verify correct bar-code on the tape.- Iron Mountain files are correctly transmitted before tapes are sent offsite.-All tape logs are up to date and the location of the tape is tracked at all times.-Ensure backup tapes are offsite with correct retention date.-All media leaving the CGI data center must be verified by two members must sign off the checklist that this has been completed.-Following the tape destruction process for all media that is damaged or deemed to be destroyed-Ensure all drives are loaded and unloaded correctly on a daily bases for all clients at the MDC location which includes : Mainframe / MVS AS400 UNIX Servers Spectra Logic Silo SL3000 Silo-Trouble-shoot for tape and drive problems.-Support of new business development activities – ITM DC, GTA or CGI level includes: Participation in new client transitions into BAU state.-Ensure tape department project are completed in a timely manner.-Involve in the planning of Disaster Recovery Test for all clientRequired qualifications to be successful in this role- Must be able to learn easily, flexible, able to work simultaneously with many customers.- Work on 12 hours shift (week-end included).- Compressed schedule 3 days a week but may change according to the needs;- Must remain in the position for a minimum of two years prior to a transfer (but possible to move in the team).EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:- Requirements: High School.- Sociable, flexible and able to work as a team.- Experience not required#INDCGIC
