Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our Edmonton growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs, wiring electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Studies plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirement and sequence of installations.
• Repairs and maintains low voltage systems (under 120V).
• Assist with site commissioning, point to point verifications, troubleshooting
• Appropriately handles and is familiar with all testing and electrical repair tools and equipment.
• Perform tasks with minimum supervision and in accordance with Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations.
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s license.
• Fluent in English – both written and oral.
• The ability to read and understand construction plans and specs and product documentation.
• Medium physical duties, the ability to stand for long periods of time in a construction environment, the ability to climb ladders and at times work from heights.
• Good knowledge of the electrical trade and the Canadian Electrical Code.
• Adept at installing conduit and pulling wire
