<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>Join to apply for the Java Technical Lead / Architect role at CGI.</p><h3>Position Description</h3><p>We are seeking for a creative and innovative Java Technical Lead / Architect, someone who wants to be part of our fast-paced and transformational Agile team.</p><h3>Your future duties and responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Convert client requirements into solution architecture and design</li><li>Be part of a collaborative software engineering team working with technologies such as Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, NoSQL, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and more.</li><li>A DevOps and CI / CD enthusiast who will promote a culture and environment which unites Agile with continuous delivery, integration, monitoring and automation to help development and operations teams be more efficient, innovate faster, and deliver higher value while looking to leverage the benefits of AI.</li><li>Assess and recommend emerging technologies and use cases</li><li>Provide technical leadership and exposure across a broad scale of tools, technologies, and architecture models</li><li>Provide direction, coaching and technical leadership guidance to the development teams during application development life cycle</li><li>Work collaboratively with agile teams to understand the business domain and client requirements that drive analysis, architecture / design and development of quality technical solutions and deliverables. These solutions cross a broad spectrum of technologies and must align with business and IT strategies and to comply with the organization’s architectural and security standards.</li><li>Contribute to Business development activities by responding to RFP / RFA and prepare Change Request Impact Assessment by offering technical solutions and providing cost estimations</li><li>Contribute to the development of Statements of Work and Proposals</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>10+ years of software engineering, specializing in Java application design and development</li><li>Experience with REST API, Spring Boot, JEE / Java, Avro, Openshift, XML, JSON, UML, Maven, Jenkins, Swagger, Microservices, Kafka, NoSQL, GraphDB, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes</li><li>Strong interest in innovation</li><li>Teammate who adapts well to uncertainty or changing needs</li><li>Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills</li><li>Strong, proactive leadership capabilities</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have Requirements</h3><ul><li>Resolving and influencing the positive outcome of conflicting objectives and priorities</li><li>Work effectively within a fast-paced team</li><li>Willing to learn fast and adapt quickly to change</li><li>Industry experience in telecom</li></ul><p>Equal Opportunity notice : CGI is an equal‑opportunity employer. Ces solutions couvrent un large éventail de technologies et doivent s’aligner sur les stratégies d’affaires et TI, tout en respectant les normes architecturales et de sécurité de l’organisation.</li><li>Contribuer aux activités de développement des affaires en répondant aux appels d’offres (RFP / RFA) et en préparant des évaluations d’impact des demandes de changement en proposant des solutions techniques et des estimations de coûts.</li><li>Participer à la rédaction des énoncés de travail et des propositions.</li><p><b>Qualifications requises (Français)</b></p><ul><li>Plus de 10 ans d’expérience en ingénierie logicielle, spécialisé(e) dans la conception et le développement d’applications Java.</li><li>Expérience avec REST API, Spring Boot, JEE / Java, Avro, Openshift, XML, JSON, UML, Maven, Jenkins, Swagger, Microservices, Kafka, NoSQL, GraphDB, Docker, OpenShift et Kubernetes.</li><li>Fort intérêt pour l’innovation.</li><li>Esprit d’équipe capable de s’adapter à l’incertitude ou aux besoins changeants.</li><li>Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles, en communication orale et écrite.</li><li>Solides capacités de leadership proactif.</li></ul><h3>Atouts souhaités (Français)</h3><ul><li>Résoudre et influencer positivement les objectifs et priorités conflictuels.</li><li>Travailler efficacement dans une équipe dynamique.</li><li>Volonté d’apprendre rapidement et de s’adapter au changement.</li><li>Expérience dans l’industrie des télécommunications.</li></ul></ul></p>
