Java/React Application Developer
Please note this is a contract to hire role. A contractor for 6 months and then be hired as a perm by the client.

Work Location: downtown Toronto, ON; Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week, the other days remote
Responsibilities:
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java-based applications.
Your day-to-day activities will include designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications. You will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You must have expert proficiency in Java and Spring boot, and advanced proficiency in React.
Design and develop Java-based applications to meet client requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
Troubleshoot and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.
