Position : IV nurse (RN or LPN) & medical aesthetician Position Type : Casual/Part Time/Full Time Location : Port Moody, B.C. Responsibilities as IV and procedures nurse: Compounding and administering intravenous therapies Administration of subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular injections Catheterization and other medical procedures as required Phlebotomy and specimen prep for lab diagnostics Vitals check, urine analysis Accurately charting patient encounters Assist patients when needed within the clinic Physician assisting during procedures Recognize emergent situations and take appropriate action (i.e. initiate EMS if needed; administer emergency medications when necessary) Problem solving and making appropriate decisions using the clinic algorithm Following written and verbal treatment orders by the physicians Clear communication with physicians and other team members Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Use sterile methods when necessary Follow standardized protocols for the clinic Exceptional attention to service and care Excellent time management skills Focus, calm and professional demeanor when working under pressure Conduct weekly supply inventory and ordering Light cleaning duties Training will be provided for specialized procedures as indicated Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities as medical aesthetician: Performing skin consultations and treatments as required (microneedling, IPL, facials, chemical peels, neuromodulators and fillers) ZO Skin Health and AlumierMD product knowledge preferred Administrative tasks as appropriate (i.e. correspondence with vendors and trainers), Participate in education/training and clinic events as required; Maintaining overall cleanliness in our display area and clinic; Demonstrate a strong interest and aptitude for creative and self-directed promotion of medical aesthetic services via social media and other marketing methods Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid Driver’s license Hold a RN degree (Canadian) or current practicing registration as LPN; Must be extremely proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy skills Hold a current and up to date neuromodulator certification Valid certification in Basic Life Support Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a RN or LPN; Minimum of one (1) year of experience in working in a Medical Aesthetics clinic; Knowledge of skin products and cosmetic procedures; Knowledge of MS Office and EMR systems (preferably MedAccess); Knowledge of naturopathic treatments would be an asset; Strong verbal and written communicator; proficient in English; Must be able to work weekends and evenings. Compensation : Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
