We're looking for a forward-thinking IT Applications Manager to lead our enterprise applications portfolio and support Durabuilt's digital transformation journey. This is your chance to shape the technology roadmap, mentor a talented team, deliver high-impact solutions across the organization, and gain exposure to global best practices through opportunities to attend major industry conferences such as Dreamforce in San Francisco.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What You'll Do</b></p><p><b>Leadership & Strategy </b></p><ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of 11 IT professionals, including a tech lead, business analysts, system analysts/programmers, and support analysts.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the team.</li><li>Define and execute an enterprise applications roadmap aligned with organizational priorities and growth strategies.</li><li>Establish KPIs and implement best practices for development, support, and delivery.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Application Management </b></p><ul><li>Oversee the support, development, and integration of mission-critical enterprise systems: ERP, Salesforce, HRIS, MES.</li><li>Ensure SLA adherence for incident response and resolution at all priority levels.</li><li>Conduct technical design and code reviews to maintain system integrity and scalability.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Process Optimization & Innovation</b></p><ul><li>Drive standardization of SDLC processes, release management, and support workflows.</li><li>Evaluate and enhance toolsets for backlog management, release planning, and support.</li><li>Good to have: Champion AI adoption and automation pilots across the enterprise to improve operational efficiency and user experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Stakeholder & Vendor Management</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with business leaders to understand evolving needs and align IT initiatives with strategic goals.</li><li>Facilitate change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party integrations to support IT strategy.</li><li>Support key projects such as the implementation and preparation for a potential ERP upgrade.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Technical Environment (Existing)</b></p><ul><li><b>ERP: </b>Paradigm CenterPoint/MasterPoint (industry-specific ERP system)</li><li><b>CRM: </b>Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, custom apps)</li><li><b>Languages:</b> .NET (primary development platform); open to modern development stacks for new initiatives</li><li><b>Databases: </b>Microsoft SQL Server (primary), PostgreSQL (legacy)</li><li><b>Reporting Tools:</b> SSRS, Tableau</li><li><b>Cloud Infrastructure: </b>AWS (primary), with ongoing migration from limited on-prem servers</li><li><b>AI & Automation: </b>ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and custom bots under development</li><li><b>Upcoming Projects:</b> Data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives are in planning stages</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>What You Bring </b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.</li><li>7+ years in IT application delivery, including 3+ years in a leadership role.</li><li>Proven success managing enterprise-scale applications and technical teams.</li><li>Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and setting up performance metrics.</li><li>Hands-on programming experience in modern development stacks for technical oversight.</li><li>Exposure to data warehousing and business intelligence concepts is an asset.</li><li>Strategic thinking with a results-oriented, problem-solving approach</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Why Join Us? </b></p><p>At Durabuilt, we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment where our people feel valued and supported every step of the way.
