<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>INTERN ARCHITECT<br /></strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Edmonton, Alberta<br /><strong>Compensation:</strong> $50-70K + Bonus<br><br> We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented <strong>Intern Architect</strong> to join our close-knit Edmonton studio and contribute to a range of engaging projects.<br><br><strong>ABOUT THE ROLE</strong><br /> In this role, you will support the design and development of architectural projects from early concept through to construction. Working closely with the principal architect and a small project team, you will take part in producing detailed drawings, coordinating with consultants, and assisting with permitting and approvals.<br /> The ideal candidate will have a passion for thoughtful, context-driven design, a solid technical foundation, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.<br><br><strong>YOUR QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br /><ul><li>Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience with an architectural firm in Alberta</li><li>Registered with the AAA as an Intern Architect or eligible for registration</li><li>Completion of an accredited architecture program</li><li>Proficiency in developing design and construction documents independently</li><li>Experience with building types such as commercial, multi-residential, or civic/community projects is an asset</li><li>Familiarity with the Alberta Building Code (Part 3) and local building practices</li><li>Proficiency in Revit is essential; AutoCAD experience is an asset</li><li>Awareness of sustainable design principles</li><li>Strong time-management skills, able to contribute to multiple small-to-mid-scale projects</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills in English</li></ul><strong>STUDIO CULTURE</strong><br /><ul><li>Small, highly collaborative team where every voice matters</li><li>Hands-on exposure to a variety of project types and phases</li><li>Direct mentorship from the principal architect</li><li>Supportive environment that encourages professional growth and skill development</li></ul> If you&#39;re passionate about architecture and eager to grow your career in a supportive, design-focused small firm, we&#39;d love to hear from you.<br><br> Please submit your resume and portfolio.
