  • Gaining exposure to cutting-edge design tools, field applications, and pressure containment systems.

  • Enjoying competitive compensation, growth potential, and flexibility to support work–life balance.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll contribute to the design, validation, and execution of engineered leak repair solutions for high-pressure systems. You will:

  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with ASME and client standards.

  • Support the design and modeling of custom leak repair clamps, enclosures, and fittings.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and drafters to validate technical designs and ensure quality assurance.

  • Apply theoretical knowledge and practical field input to develop cost-effective, engineered repair solutions.

  • Assist in vendor and fabrication coordination, including technical reviews and documentation.

  • Participate in client consultations, providing technical input and design clarifications as required.

  • Support field implementation and inspection teams to ensure safe, accurate application of engineered designs.

  • Work primarily on-site at the engineering office, with some flexibility for remote work once onboarding is complete.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Design Engineering.

  • Eligible for, or currently registered as, E.I.T. or P.Eng. with APEGA (good standing).

  • 4–8 years of progressive engineering experience, ideally in pressure equipment, piping design, or mechanical repair systems.

  • Familiarity with ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII/IX, and ASME PCC-2.

  • Proficient in SolidWorks, Navisworks, and related drafting/design software.

  • Experience with or exposure to ANSYS Mechanical for stress analysis and design validation.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a hands-on and adaptable approach.

  • Physically fit and open to occasional site visits or travel (up to 25%).

  • Exposure to pressure testing, lifting analysis, and hot tap applications is an asset.

  • Working knowledge of 3D scanning tools (e.g., Artec Studio) considered an advantage.
