Description

We’re hiring an Intermediate Security Solutions Architect to evaluate our existing security framework as well as assist in designing and implementing security architecture and risk assessment best practices. You’ll work with various teams to ensure projects meet cybersecurity standards, enhance security technologies, and participate in governance forums. Additionally, you’ll help document incident response playbooks and research emerging threats.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and deploy new security solutions, and enhance existing technologies to mitigate risks and improve security posture.
• Support planning and designing enterprise security architecture while collaborating with system owners and stakeholders to allocate security controls effectively.
• Conduct threat modeling, and risk assessments, and recommend controls based on industry frameworks and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders, ensuring projects adhere to Cybersecurity and architectural standards through governance forums.
• Review and adjust Information Security and Enterprise Architecture policies, standards, and configurations to align with best practices.
• Support incident response by defining, documenting, and testing playbooks, while managing fixes, patches, and configuration updates.
• Monitor and research emerging threats and attack vectors to maintain and improve the organization’s Cybersecurity maturity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience implementing security solutions for mid-sized systems.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engagements.
• Proven track record of analyzing and evaluating security framework and architecture and proposing restructuring and optimization strategies.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, COBIT, and ISO and familiarity with security models.
• Hands-on experience in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation), storage, application development, Operating Systems, encryption standards.
• Experience with a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven ability to create and align strategic cybersecurity direction with tactical activities, effectively communicating plans across the organization.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
