Account Representative – Gregory Barber’s Desjardins Insurance Agency

Location: 2373 Main St, London, ON, N6P 1A7 Type: Full Time Onsite (local) – Monday- Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

Base Salary: Minimum $50,000 a year (Negotiable based on qualifications)

Incentives + Bonus Plan

Responsibilities:

• Find new clients and increase the number of new accounts
• Being competent to do outbound calling, email clients and have in person meetings on a daily basis
• Retaining and developing client’s relationships to further enhance their experience with our office and meet new developing needs of clients in person and by making outbound phone calls
• Ability to take initiative and act effectively in various circumstances without direction in a team of 5 by accomplishing daily goals and dividing responsibilities to ensure clients are taken care of
• Ensure while representing the agency they maintain the high reputation of our business, clients and community

Requirements:

• Must have General Insurance License (OTL)
• Back ground and credit check is required upon a job offer
• Fluency in English both written and spoken is essential in this role
• Persistent; when done respectfully and consistently, breaks through. It reminds customers that you are there with a solution to their problems. It gives them multiple chances to connect. And though it may take half a dozen times to get a response, land that meeting or open a discussion, they will thank you in the end
• Not mandatory: Being multi-lingual to diversify our communication channels with our community
• Being a continuous learner and being able to complete assigned courses
• Ability to commute to our local office
