Our client, a leader in manufacturing technology, is seeking an Injection Molding Machine Technician to join their team. As an Injection Molding Machine Technician, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring the optimal performance of advanced injection molding systems. What’s the Job?
- Perform setup, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Husky injection molding systems.
- Provide technical support to internal customers, acting as a lead or mentor to team members when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and correct hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, electronic, and programmable control system issues.
- Analyze and interpret data from vibration and heat analysis to support predictive maintenance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, and EH&S compliance.
What’s Needed?
- Post-secondary education in Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related Engineering/Technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in injection molding equipment service, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- 3–5 years of experience maintaining CNC equipment and robotics.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding process and plastic materials.
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and customer focus.
