Adecco in partnership with our manufacturing client in Scarborough is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their growing team. This position is responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-volume manufacturing equipment, including vacuum forming machines, CNC routers, and conveyor systems.
This position is a hands-on, safety-focused professional with strong electrical expertise and solid mechanical aptitude. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting ongoing production demands.

  • Pay Rate: $41/hour + shift premium
  • Location: Scarborough, ON
  • Shift: Afternoon (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM)
  • Job type: Permanent Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on forming machines, CNC routers, and conveyor systems.
  • Diagnose and repair control circuits, sensors, relays, motors, VFDs, and automation-related issues.
  • Assist with mechanical repairs in collaboration with millwrights and maintenance team members.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and contribute to equipment reliability initiatives.
  • Respond to machine breakdowns promptly and ensure effective resolution.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Complete cross-shift training prior to transitioning into the afternoon shift role.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of industrial electrician experience in high-volume manufacturing.
  • 442A Electrician License preferred; 433A Millwrights with strong electrical skills may be considered.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, control circuits).
  • Familiarity with PLCs (Siemens and others) and ability to assist with basic PLC troubleshooting.
  • Preventative maintenance experience on manufacturing equipment (vacuum forming, CNC routers, conveyors).
  • Strong safety awareness and ability to work collaboratively in a small maintenance team.
  • Dual-ticket candidates (Electrician/Millwright) may qualify for a higher rate.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and strong team-oriented approach.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
