In-home Sales Consultant
Toronto, ON, Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: CA$80,000 to CA$120,000 per year
As a sales representative, you will sell premium outdoor flooring solutions such as porcelain pavers, composite decking, and related outdoor living products to homeowners. This is a field-based role in the Toronto area. This position reports to the Regional Manager and offers a competitive base salary of $45,000 – $55,000, car allowance, and uncapped commission.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Base Salary: $45,000 – $55,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE): CA$80,000 to CA$120,000 in the first year
Commission: Uncapped, paid Quarterly
Car Allowance: Mileage reimbursement (Company car is possible)
Health Benefits: Company-paid
Additional Tools: Laptop, cell phone, and CRM system provided

OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
Regional Head Office: Etobicoke, Ontario
Territory: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Work Model: Field-based with flexibility to work from home on occasion
Office Presence: Required for weekly Monday team meetings in Etobicoke, Ontario
Flexibility: Generally 8 to 5 Monday to Fridays.
EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
2–10 years of B2C sales experience (home improvement or related industries preferred).
Valid driver’s G license and access to a vehicle. (Vehicle is not mandatory)
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Excel: Basic
PowerPoint: Basic
MS Word: Basic
Experience with CRM, Hubspot: Basic

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS / INDUSTRY FOCUS / DECISION-MAKER(S):
Primary Market: Residential homeowners in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding regions.
Decision-Makers: Homeowners aged 45–65+, looking for high-quality, customizable outdoor flooring solutions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sales process: Typically involves 1–2 in-person visits to close a sale, maintaining client communication throughout the cycle via emails and calls. Some appointments will be organized and coordinated by administration.
Sales Cycle: ranging from 1 week to 2 months depending on customer decision timelines.
Average Order Value: $7,000 – $30,000 CAD, as outdoor flooring projects are often a one-time purchase for homeowners.
Account Size: Primarily individual homeowners; focus is on new customer acquisition in the first year.

Self-Generated Leads: Through proactive strategies such as attending events, home shows, door-to-door canvassing near installations, and networking.
First-Year Focus: Close New business through the leads that our marketing efforts Generated.
OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
None required.
SUPPORT & TRAINING:
Duration: 2–3 weeks of structured training, including job shadowing and mentoring on site.
Support: Ongoing sales coaching and technical guidance from a dedicated support team, working directly with the company owner.
